Thai Cuisine - Albuquerque

The prices are extremely high for the quality of the food. The menu claims to feature basil, but what we received was parsley. The spring rolls were simply iceberg lettuce with shrimp. I really should have checked recent reviews before visiting. It was quite disappointing. Rating: 2/5 for the food.

The curry was excellent, but three of us ordered one main dish and an appetizer, and the total bill came to $84. I wouldn’t mind the cost if the portions were more reasonable. In my opinion, Thai Cuisine II offers better portion sizes and prices, and their food is slightly better as well.

I've been a loyal customer of Thai Cuisine for at least 20 years, and I truly dislike having to write this. It seems they may be under new management lately. While I understand that prices have risen due to increasing costs, the quality of the food and portion sizes have noticeably declined. There was an excess of rice, the beef was extremely tough, and the dumplings were burnt—nothing tasted like it used to. Additionally, there was a strong sewer smell that hit you as soon as you opened the door. If I hadn't prepaid for my order online, I likely would have walked away. I sincerely hope the new owners can restore Thai Cuisine to the high standard it once had.

Our food was ready and put in the to-go area for 10-15 minutes before they called our name to pick it up. There was a lot of rice compared to the chicken so the meat to rice ratio was off. The food was just okay. Nothing special.

There was an odd smell when we first walked in but couldnt figure it out. We were told to seat ourselves and we did. We ordered our meals and my wife's was brought out by itself. The AC turned on and we figured out the smell. It was raw sewage. Almost 10 minutes after my wife's food was brought they brought mine. Wasn't served like it was advertised. Looked more like they threw it in a bowl, packed it down, and flipped it over on a plate. Couldn't finish eating due to the smell of raw sewage permeating the restaurant. Very disappointing trip.
