Café Besugo - Alcacer Do Sal

Traveling down to Sagres, stopped here on a Monday lunchtime the place was packed.....much to our surprise. I believe that everyone was Portuguese, and that made us definitely want to eat here. We had to wait five minutes for a table to become free. The very lovely waitress was able to help us translate the specials although there main menu was translated . I had the veal my husband had the special of chicken, with cream and mushrooms. Both dishes were great, hearty and simple. Pudding, we both chose the flan Creme caramel , yummy The bill came to €27, with wine, bread, water and olives. If you’re passing on your journey, stop for a great lunch.

O restaurante está com nova gerência, então fomos lá comprar comida para levar para casa e experimentar o novo serviço. o sr que lá está nada simpático! as 3 doses de choco muito mal servidas devia ter tirado foto compramos doses inteiras e não meias doses, batata mole e encharcada em óleo e pouca quantidade, qualquer pessoa ficava com fome. A meia dose da carne à portuguesa foi bem servida, era meia dose e tinha mais quantidade que o choco e as batatas,enfim. A Verinha salva o atendimento sempre com o seu sorriso a receber as pessoas. Sou da terra mas tinha que vir aqui dar a minha opinião.

They can speak englisch too. Nice people. Very niet food.

Comemos levemente salgado, mas muito boa sopa de caação. e uma bochecha de porco com migas, divina. excelente relação qualidade/preço.
