Cava Potomac Yard - Alexandria

I am currently doubled over in bed in excruciating pain rethinking my life decisions. I have food poisoning and have been sick since Sunday morning. The last thing I ate was a chicken bowl from this location. Be careful folks!

For the first time I was a bit disappointed by Cava. I ordered their lemon chicken bowl today. The vegetables and sauces all tasted wonderful, as I'm used to at Cava, but the quality of the chicken was less than stellar. It was all very dark meat, and not just because of the flavorings/sauce it had been cooked in. It was just completely little bits of dark meat. Also some bones and cartilage in it a couple of mouthfuls. Sadly looks like quality has gone down as they're probably more concerned with saving costs these days.

The harisco avocado chicken bowl was delicious! I'm so glad that I have one back home in Denver.

Chipotle for Mediterranean. Good options, including vegetarian. Their pita is actually laffa, and their shkug is actually like an Indian corriander chutney. Otherwise, pretty decent for a chain.

Cava was great! Super fresh and delicious. Just a touch pricey but not knocking off any points for that.
