Firehouse Subs Kingstowne - Alexandria

This place offers excellent subs and outstanding service. When my son asked for an extra pickle spear, they brought it to him instantly. I also forgot to order a drink, and they gave it to me at no charge.

The restaurant was quite pricey, and I didn't receive the dish I originally ordered. The staff suggested a different combination, claiming it would be better, but it ended up costing me more. As a single mother with two children, this was frustrating for me.

I’m not sure if he was the manager, but he was quite rude and had an attitude when I asked for a fresh sub sandwich. He dismissed my request, saying it would be a waste of money, and then hung up on me. I really don’t trust him to prepare my food—I’m concerned it might be contaminated.

Our favorite sandwich place! The Hook Ladder is our absolute favorite sub in the world. Much better than subway. All fresh.

Google had the store closing at 10. I arrived at 8:52 and was told they were closed. (thanks Google! I was able to talk my way in and had the best tasting Italian sub that I?ve ever had. I will be returning but nowhere near closing time!
