Foxfire Grill - Alexandria

I’ve been to Foxfire a few times. Good food and good prices. The menu is simple and service is fine. This is a safe place for a good sandwich, but not exceptional in my experience.

Loved Firefox Grill this evening. Our server Eddie was great and attentive. My Salmon was perfectly cooked. Coconut Shrimp were ok needed some seasoning- very small shrimp though... my sangria was great, although I was missing the chopped fruit I am accustomed to having in my sangria. The bartender was funny and brought great energy to the room. Loved the cute picnic style swing table. Played tic tac toe and enjoyed our visit

We first found out about foxfire grill from an episode of the restaurant: impossible in January 2020. Unfortunately, covid shut down everything before we had a chance to visit. now where the dinge open and a restaurant: impossible revisited episode reminded us of foxfire grill we stopped for lunch when we were in the opposite we were not local . the restaurant looks great. roberts design and build team has made a great job. a suggestion if you are a bit fluffy as I want to make a table or not a stand swing. trust me. we started with the coconut war with the Jícama plum and the chickenerquesadilla. the garnels had a large cocos taste with beautiful cocosmus flakes on the outside. that was the first time I had jícama Slav. it was beautiful and crispy and a little sweet. the dipping sauce had a beautiful pineapple taste with a little jalapeño to give it a little bit bit. the queendilla had beautiful large pieces of huh and a big taste. my wife had the 1 2 blt avacado sandwich and byhalat. they loved the b and the lt, avacado and salate green were all fresh and tasteful. I had the garnel and grits. omg the sauce was so good. If you spill it over an old shoe, I'd eat it. I am a big fan of garnel and grits, and that was probably the best I had. mostly with garnel and grits you get really garnel. foxfire takes it to the next level by removing the cocks and cutting the garnels, so it is distributed over the sauce. that makes it so much easier to garnel in every bite. if we were in foxfire, we would often feed there. Now we have to plan to be more often in the opposite so that we can visit each other.

The food was delicious, my salmon calf was really tasteful! also the appetizers were good, but where this place really seems in their service, mauricio was so profesional, he explained the menu perfectly and he was so funny and beautiful. we will come back and hope we will get him back as our server! highly recommended!
