La Terraza - Alexandria

I have been a customer of this restaurant for about four years, and I have seen two menu changes during that time. This place is simply amazing. While they offer basic and generic Mexican food options on the second page, their chimichangas are fantastic if you want a familiar choice. However, if you want something special, I recommend turning the page to their beef and seafood specialties. My personal favorite is El Vaquero, the beef ribs. My fiancé loves the Camarones al la plancha (grilled shrimp). The Chuletas (pork chops with olives) are also a great option for something different. I usually dislike cooked carrots, but the mixed veggies with rice here are so delicious that I could eat those carrots all day.

We had a fantastic dining experience. Everything was superb, and the highlight was our wonderful server Maria, who was friendly, professional, and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice place but I have never been to a restaurant that does not serve sweet or unsweet tea. They also did not have cranberry juice and waiter did not seem to understand English too well. Kudos on the red snapper though!!!

As soon as you walk into this restaurant, you are immediately immersed in Mexican culture. I tried their steak tacos and they were the best I've ever had. I also ordered a Jack and Ginger Ale, and let me tell you, they don't skimp on the alcohol here. The waitress spoke decent English, but had to check with someone in the back when I asked for soy sauce - which was actually pretty funny. She was very friendly and attentive. This place is now my top choice for tacos and drinks.

The food was delicious and flavorful. We had a wonderful time and it's a fantastic spot to dine with friends and family.
