Lulu's Kitchen - Alexandria

Best restaurant in this town. All the food coming out looks amazing. I got the deviled eggs and ahi tuna. My waiter (Z) is as sharp as they come. Best waiter I’ve had in a long time.

After making a call to restaurant before going and was told no wait at the moment. Arrived at restaurant 10 min after call and was told wait was an hr. After the hour past, we were told it could be another 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. Seems they couldn’t eat their story straight. Finally got seated after 2 hrs and the food was NOT worth the wait!! The steak egg rolls were very good but everything else was that brought out was not hot and the taste was mediocre

-All of the food was excellent. The staff was very professional. The deviled egg appetizer was fantastic. The salads are a generous size.

This restaurant is rated #1 for Alexandria. It is certainly overrated in my opinion. We visited on a Friday night. There was about a 30 minute wait. The food was average at best. It did did not look pike the pictures on the menu. If you're looking for an exceptional meal this is not it. Will not return.

We stopped to stay the night in Alexandria on our way to New Orleans and Orange Beach. Nice place and good food. I had the deviled egg appetizer and my wife had a hummus appetizer. They were both very good and large enough to where we didn't need to eat anything else. (We weren't immensely hungry anyway. Service was good as well. We'd visit again.
