Colemans Smokehouse - Alexandria Bay

The food was incredible. Everything was spot on, and the service was impressive for a busy establishment that wasn't overcrowded. Getting to the bathroom was a bit tricky, and although I was seated around the corner, I found the special BBQ sauce tasted like mustard. Other than that, the experience was perfect, and the view was simply stunning.

The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was laid back.

We attended the Blues at the Bay Festival in Alexandria Bay over Labor Day weekend and decided to dine at a restaurant right on the water. It was quite busy, but we only had to wait a short while at the bar before our table was ready, and we ended up with a great spot. Our server was attentive, friendly, and quick, and the bartender was just as efficient. I ordered the squid served with fries and coleslaw, which was absolutely delicious. My friend opted for the steak and cheese roll, and she loved it as well. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area during the summer season!

Even if the weather isn't great, I recommend sitting on the patio! It's mostly covered, making it a pleasant option despite the conditions. They have a dedicated non-smoking area right by the seating. The service was outstanding, and the food was exceptional. Our server was very knowledgeable about portion sizes and combinations that worked well together. We were quite hungry but didn't want to end up with too many leftovers we couldn't take home. We ordered the Lobster Mac (definitely a must-try!). The portion was modest but satisfying. The other dish we chose was the brisket and BBQ platter, which was enormous and delicious! We opted for potatoes as our side, which came with cornbread. I particularly enjoyed the BBQ and the sauce. The only thing I didn't care for was the horseradish sauce served with the brisket; it was a bit too heavy on the sauce and not enough horseradish for my taste. Overall, the two meals were more than enough for two hungry adults to share.
