Laurentian Lodge - Algoma

We chose a last-minute trip as a family member was here. We had a hotel, but it wasn't big enough so my husband asked if something else was available. Fortunately, there was a cancellation for the same date we were in the lodge and we could update seamlessly. We ended up with a cabin right in front of the waterfall. Let me just say sleep open with the terrace doors and hear that waterfall was stunning. There is no cell service, but Wi Fi in the lodge and honestly, it was such a great time to know that I did not review my phone for work and spent quality time with my family. The lodge is beautiful and her food (breakfast and dinner) was amazing! Hiking trails nearby and boat rental. They actually build a new cabin on the other side of the lake, which is only accessible by boat. Can't wait until this becomes available. All in all, if you are looking for a peaceful escape in nature and no cell phones you must definitely make this trip!

When I meditate I imagine sitting on the rocks at the falls at laurentian lodge. Truly a hidden gem if you are looking to be unplugged and just relax.

Heaven on earth. Scenery was breath taking. My son had his wedding there this past weekend. A weekend event. The food was very good and the staff were amazing. Looking to have a family long weekend reunion there. Great breakfast buffet. Definitely worth spending a holiday there.....so much to do and see.....Two thumds wayyyy up. What an amazing place!! We stayed two nights and should have stayed a week!! The rooms have views right on the water with a deck to sit at and absorb the beautiful sights The lodge is big and the meals are delicious . The service is fantastic. We will be adding this one to are must go back to list as we need to see more!!! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
