The Briery - Allerdale

While staying at North Lake Lodges, Aspatria looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch did an Internet search for somewhere within a 30 minute drive was very luck to find The Briery Bar and Restaurant. On arrival met with a warm welcome, opted to go for traditional roast beef, meal was served hot and well presented. Food potions good, and all freshly prepared vegetables. Dessert lovely. Booking required as restaurant was busy. Lucky find and thanks to all the staff.

Had a delicious beef roast dinner with the family. Staff were friendly food was lovely. Nice decor inside. Great to find a local pub and not another chain.

A good menu, with lots of great options. Good atmosphere with very friendly staff. I recommend the salt and pepper chicken!

Very disappointing, The food was tasteless, meat was like chewing some leather,smashed potatoes tasted like cheap smash out of a packet, never again, we spent over £150 pound ,very dissatisfied

Had a great meal here. Good portions and quick service. Recommended. I had a Prawn Salad with chips which was delicious. There was a good selection of Cheese cake desserts which my friends enjoyed
