The Hootennany is a family favorite, but personally I think the cowboy coffee is a really great addition to a charcuterie plate. They make a fresh chevre that does not have the barnyard taste that some other brands do.
Really cool place. Nice people run the place. They even have a little cafe so you can grab some snacks/drinks. I would recommend getting hibiscus drink with sparking water!
All the animals seemed really hungry or were really underweight. Their pens were exceptionally dirty/not maintained. The play set and kids toys were mostly broken or unusable. The garden was nice and had a good variety but the store did not have many things to offer. Has potential to be an incredible place but sadly it needs some help.
Amy’s Farm is open to the public and it provides its visitors a unique hands-on learning experience suitable for all ages. Visitors can explore the farm on their own without a reservation, or book a guided tour by contacting them through their website. Guided tours vary in price but you can expect to pay $8-10 per person and for visitors who decide to visit on their own the farm depends on a donation of $10 per family. Since it was our first time visiting the farm we decided to book a tour. I filled out a form on their site to begin the reservation process and the next day I was contacted by one of their staff members and the date and time was finalized as well as the pricing. On the day of our tour we arrived excited and ready to explore. We were greeted by our cheerful tour guide who right away began taking us around the farm to visit the different gardens. We were educated on the importance of sustainable, organic farming and had the opportunity to see produce at its different stages of growth. After visiting the gardens full of different kinds of vegetables, fruits and herbs we were taken to see the beautiful animals where we were encouraged to pet them. That was definitely entertaining for my children but the highlight of our tour was getting the hands-on experience of milking a cow! After our tour was over, which lasted about an hour and a half we were free to explore on our own and visit their store where we were able to purchase the fresh produce grown there on the farm, which varies depending on the season.Amy’s Farm has been contributing to our community for over 20 years, providing families the experience of farm life, wide open spaces, organic produce and education on the importance of farming. It was an unforgettable experience my family enjoyed and definitely one we would come back to throughout the years.
I had an Amazing experience experience at Amy's farm.-they set a very welcoming and friendly tone with signs everywhere describing how this farm functions-they use the honor system in their store. That means they trust you enough to be honest and pay for exactly what you bought without having to police you.-they have some of the best honey I've ever tried.-people who work on the farm are extremely nice.-you can pet all their animals!Overall I had such a fun time at this farm I can't wait to come back. I highly recommend it for anybody looking to experience a relaxing and fun farm experience.
