Restaurante Tucano`s - Almancil

I’m really sorry to do this but we’d booked and showed up on time. Instead of being greeted and shown to our table they looked at us like we were a nuisance and just said “only inside”. If this had been conveyed when we booked we wouldn’t of come. And to be fair, your staff were rude and clearly very busy. Back to the hotel for an Uber eats pizza for us. Pretty below par experience

We visited this restaurant recently with a couple of friends. The food was average which was disappointing as we had been before and it was lovely. However, service was good and the staff were very polite.

I had a meal in Tucano's one evening whilst on holiday with my parents and boyfriend in Quinta Do Lago, and we were all a bit put off by how empty the place was. We were the only table! However, none of us could understand why the place was empty, because the food was fantastic (I highly recommend the chateaubriand). Of all the restaurants we ate in, we all agreed that the food at Tucano's was the best, and we went back for a second time. It's just such a shame that it's been almost empty both times we visited, it's a great restaurant with lovely staff. It was also cheaper than a few other places we'd tried in the area - so thumbs up all round!

Some friends took us to this restaurant last week on a Thursday.We arrived at 20.00 and was shocked to find that we were the only customers!.We had excellent meal,from there recommended choice!.A young couple arrived at around 21.00 and had gone by 21.40,we guess embarrassed by the total lack of atmosphere.Needless to say we had excellent service.Great shame as the setting is most attractive,as is the dining room,but surely the management must promote it more as the competition is tough in the area,

This place for dinner was ok. Not many people so atmosphere a bit light, service good, food good. So all in all worth it if you don't want to cook at home but certainly will not be champing at the bit to go back.
