Chic-n-gyro - Altamonte Springs

After the hurricane, a celebrity visited this restaurant because it was one of the few places open. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and when it arrived, it tasted rancid. The staff was even rationing the fries, literally counting how many each person received. If you wanted extra sauce, they charged 75 cents for each one. I definitely won't be returning.

The food was excellent. It was my first time trying lamb, and I really enjoyed it. The owner was fantastic and very attentive. I made some suggestions before placing my order. Everything, except for the lamb, is prepared fresh on-site.

Family had gyro platter and chicken and a lamb gyro. Son was making the hmmm sounds so I know he thoroughly enjoyed it. Chicken and lamb was moist and flavorful. Was spur of the moment stop on way to Costco... Glad we stopped ?

The place is a little dirty and unorganized. The lamb gyro over rice was a little overcooked and dry. The chicken shawarma was pretty good but the extra garlic sauce was too sharp for me. The baklava was nice and the owner was friendly and warm.

Delicious! We always order the chicken and gyro plates, and we enjoy them every single time. The aromas are incredible and authentic. The meat is flavorful and juicy, cooked to perfection. The owner is pleasant to chat with and always friendly. We visit at least once a week. It's the best authentic and high-quality Mediterranean food we've had in a long time.
