Alton Burger Palace

Business has been closed for quite some time now. Prior to that, they were okay for a quick snack.

The burgers were good sized, but lacked any real beef taste alone. A previous review by Donna seems to be on, soy is being used. The fries were tasteless without condiments. Seems the fryer grease is either old, or they use something i'm not used to. The taste certainly didn't match the smell coming out of grill vents, which was yummy smelling. The price was a bit much for what we got. The staff was juvenile and a little awkward, personal arguments and drama played out while we waited for our food to go, entertaining at the least. That is small town stuff though and should be expected. They were nice though. IF you really need a burger it would be the best of the option of those to choose from. Full disclosure, I am very picky and brutally honest.

There a small burger,shakes,fries kinda place but, they have a varied menu. The food is ok but nothing special. They are friendly and service with a smile. Can tell there is soy in their burgers if you like that kinda stuff! Not to mention they have a fly problem in the dining room. But in a town of 870 people ya can't except it to be like a big chain restaurant.

Well, this place wasn 't that good. i got burned twice here so that 's why i 'm bothering. the food and quality of ingrediants used can best be described as bad high school cafeteria food . i 'd steer clear of the Palace!
