Copper At State Street Market - Alton

We were in the area and decided to try something else and we were for an unforgettable culinary pleasure. Unbelievable hostess who describes the different courses and juicy dishes as well as impeccable service. Delicious humus, shrimp duck and salmon main dish were worth crossing the river.

Everything was lovely, from food to service. I had the baked beef and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone at my party was eating their dishes. The ambience is beautiful and comfortable. This is a clear retreat.

Loved this place. Very friendly staff and great food. On vacation from Utah and I would love to come back.

My husband and I celebrated our 48th Anniversary last night and there was NOTHING that could have been improved on. I had filet and he had lamb. Both meals were the best we have had in forever. Awesome presentation. Caring and attentive staff (Melanie rocks). The restaurant reminded us of European cafes that we love. Patio with fireplace. If we lived in Alton, we would be such regulars here. Thank you all for a memorable celebration.
