This has become one of my favorite Mexican food spots in the area, but my most recent visit was a little disappointing. I went for my birthday and ordered a medium lime margarita, which was pretty weak, but still good. My friend and ordered queso and guacamole, but did not receive either until after our food orders came out. We also had to ask for more chips and salsa after both waiters (only two appeared to be working) disappeared after taking our order. The guacamole didn't taste as if there were actual avocados in it, so I would skip that next time. The super fajita quesadilla never disappoints- it's stuffed with chicken or steak, peppers and onions, topped with queso and served with guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. The margarita, both dips and this meal was around $30.

As Mexican goes it's not the best or the worst in town. We stopped in on a Wednesday night around 7 and the place was mostly empty. We were told to sit anywhere and were waited on quickly with a basket of chips and salsa. The waiter took our drink orders and got them fast and mostly right. Y friend ordered a frozen peach margarita which wasn't frozen and was what he described as too sweet and syrupy. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and my friends ordered several other entrees. The food came out fast and from the conversation at the table it ranged in quality from average to above average. Nothing we had was bad. I did like the fajitas quite a bit. It was a nice heaping plate of chicken and vegetables served with rice and refried beans and three of the small 6 diameter flour tortillas. For $15.99 it would have been nice to see the amount of tortillas match the amount of food served to go in them. About 1/3 of the chicken fit in the tortillas. A few more, or a larger sized 10 or larger tortilla like the one in the web site photos would have made the meal more enjoyable. Once the food was served we didn't see the waiter again until it was time to bring the bill. No refills on drinks and no refill on chips. The experience wasn't terrible but it could have been better. Had the service been more attentive we would have had a much nicer experience. My hope is that next time will be better and I can up my review a notch or two.
