Dairy Queen Alvin, Tx

I have been to this restaurant about 8 times and have been able to enjoy their delicious chicken and dumplings. The portions are generous and the dish is worth the price, but it can be expensive. However, there have been times when they do not have it available, even though it is listed on the menu. It would be nice to have the option consistently whenever I visit.

On May 13, 2022, I visited Alvin Dairy Queen and waited for 15 minutes. I noticed that the staff was low and one worker was running back and forth between three stations to take orders. I ordered a small dip cone and a peanut butter cup Blizzard. The worker made it in just 5 minutes, despite being hardworking and busy with other tasks. I asked him where his help was when he was straining his back. He was a nice young man.

1 star because I can't give 0 stars. I have never written a review before, but this experience was so awful that I felt compelled to do so. This restaurant disappoints every time we visit, and this will be the last time. The food seemed old and reheated - cold fries, tough steak, and dry chicken strips. The management is poor, and it appears to be run by inexperienced children. I suggest driving 10 extra minutes to a better Dairy Queen on Broadway. This place is on its way out, in my opinion. Absolutely terrible.

We went to milk queen for the 75 cent ice cone, but their drive thru was super packed! about 10 cars deep. I decided to go in instead. I got my cone fast and was a happy camper! this dairy queen has been renovated and the place is very clean and bright. many parking and well lit.

They need help. I'm so ashamed of people not wanting to work. This poor girl was taking orders, fixing the food and delivering to the drive thru customers. I don't know what was happening inside.
