River Stone Pizza - Alvinston

The food at this restaurant has always been delicious. I recently visited their new location on the highway and it was lovely. The restaurant is open, bright, and friendly. I ordered a pizza that was full of fresh toppings and had a perfectly cooked crust. The garlic bread pizza is now my new favorite. Even my picky kids enjoyed their meal! They also provided crayons and coloring placemats, which was a nice addition. This restaurant is a great destination for a family night out. I can't wait to go back. And one more thing, they have one type of cola on tap, but if you prefer a different brand, they have cans available. Their customer service is amazing, they have thought of everything.

The pizza was excellent with plenty of toppings, and the cheese sticks we ordered were the best I've ever had, surpassing those from chain restaurants.

Order called in was correct when picked up. Good portions. Generous toppings pizza cooked evenly. Wings were not awesome but not horrible. The garlic bread pizza was a hit with the children.

Went here after a hockey game. The restaurant looks like a little hole-in-the-wall but once inside, it's really quite big and quaint with rooms here and there full of tables. You can eat by the picture windows or head back to the bar and watch sports on the tv's. Party of four ordered individual pizzas and some apps. Menu has lots of good items on it. Jalapeno poppers, deep fried pickles and wings were what we ordered. All of it was perfect, and the portion size left a little to take home also. Pizzas were cooked perfectly with a homemade crust. Caesars are fantastic. We think this is a hidden gem and will definitely eat here again whenever we pass through Alvinston.

Went to this restaurant for the first time on Aug. 20, 2014. There were four people in our party. All four of us ordered Panzirottis. All four came to us Burnt. When we questioned the waitress about it, she said that they always run their panzirotts thru the oven three times. It was the worst meal we have had in a Pizza Restaurant. Will never go back there.. Didn't even offer to make it right and didn't discount any of the meals. The service was so slow that we had to get our own menu's. Then waited another 15 min. for a salad, then another 25 minutes for the panzirotti. The other couple that was with us who suggested this restaurant couldn't apologize enough. I could understand if they offered to make new ones or even discount the price of the meal but they didn't.. WE Won't be going back there.
