Grande Muralha - Alvor

Last two occasions I bought a chickeball, fried rice and curry sauce I was more than disappointed, especially as I have been a regular customer since 2015. The curry sauce is like soup, bad soup. I called to advise and I was rushed off the phone. This evening it was the same meal, sauce like soup, fried rice was way overcooked, and some of the chicken balls were tough, too tough to eat. I called and was asked am I looking for a free meal… I said definitely not… only to let u know I am dissatisfied and I won’t be going back…. By end of this season their reputation will be destroyed… by themselves.

Nice spot for a family meal. Excellent service and pleasant staff. Food was served promptly. We ordered the chicken curry and it was quiet nice. Food is reasonably priced for big groups.

Com alguma experiência em restaurantes de comida chinesa este não me convenceu. Talvez por ser Agosto? Pedimos de entrada um Van Tan frito que parecia do congelado porque cheio de gordura para além de vir junto com o molho coisa que nunca tinha visto. Pato à Pequim estava bastante razoável. Restantes pratos- galinha com amêndoas e gambas fritas na chapa estavam razoáveis. Arroz chau-chau com cenoura nunca tinha visto! Ao nosso lado havia uma mesa de 14 ou 15 pessoas com crianças que uma vez libertas circulavam livremente pela sala a brincar, gritar, chorar e os pais nada fizeram. Esta situação também não contribui para um ambiente agradável.

This was a random pick for us but well worth it. The service was quick and friendly and the fopd was top quality. The portions are big so some could share and are extremely reasonably priced. Had a fantastic meal here
