Fab tea room behind rydal hall with great selection of hearty and cake. even better, they ask for a pull-out bag or the like as they want to take cake to rydal caves and eat it there, and they present it in a small box. 12/10 for customer service and so obligatory cake in box prepared in cave photo as promised

Beautiful, full-bodied coffee without bitterness. good choice of cake. delicious cheese slices. to eat and drink good rooms inside and outside. quiet and relaxing, next to the gardens of the rydal hall. good toilet facilities.

Beautiful fresh sandwiches and cakes, and really friendly staff

Lovely location sat outside listening to the water cascading down. Excellent cakes and coffee. All lovely, can't choose my favourite! Come here lots as a great stop off on our way back to Ambleside after a days walk.

Excellent food customer service very good will be seeing the outside when you have your coffee and cakes would recommend a visit
