Akka Hotel - Ambur

Mutton biriyani in akka kadai is delicious and much better than the other famous outlets in and around ambur. great taste for a very reasonable price. the ambiente is good for the biriyani outlet in comparison to the meal times. the meal can not be discharged. a great seating order, but it is very much compensated for by the quality and amount of chicken cure, excellent rasam, probiotic buttermilk and protein sambar. the gastfreundschaft can also not be adapted by 5 star restaurants. akka ensures that they have a great lunch. enjoyed eating, highly recommended.

Oh my goodness! This restaurant is absolutely incredible thanks to akka. For only Rs 100, you get a plate of rice topped with the most delicious chicken curry filled with juicy and tender pieces. And don't even get me started on their heavenly rasam and buttermilk. These are some of the best I've had in the city. The review may seem exaggerated, but that's just how much we enjoyed it. Plus, no extra charges for sides or desserts. Just rice, chicken curry, rasam, and buttermilk.

Recently we had a trip to Yelagiri, and while returning we thought of trying some thing new apart from the Star Biryani of Ambur; The taste of the Chicken curry here is really awesome, and this is one of the best spicy chicken curries i...ever ate. If you are making a journey to Ambur, definitely plan taste the akkas hotel meals...

Not for those who expect fine dinning experience. Akka is the elderly lady who runs this hole in the highway! all kinds of people come here for a meal, from truck drivers to auto drivers to cars passing by and a bunch of local folks...frequent this place between 1pm and 3pm. Its very easy miss this small thatched roof hotel, if you are heading to chennai on the Bangalore Chennai highway, after Ambur this place is to your right (before Madhanur flyover). Akka serves her speciality which is fresh chicken curry and steaming rice and of course there is the usual Sambar, Rasam, Porrial one dry veggie and buttermilk if you still have room for more. For a normal person akka would charge about Rs.75.... and i bet you will be served more than 400gms of Chicken. We usually carry a bottle of water and some tissues, its wooden benches and table, meal on a banana leaf....I can summarise the experience as a communal eating experience. It's clean, tasty and wholesome food. I love it and so do many of my friends who have accompanied me to Akka Hotel.

This restaurant is a must-visit. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the amazing flavor of each dish that was served.
