Sol Agave - American Fork

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in Utah! I had the avocado tacos and they were phenomenal. My wife got the Chile verde and loved her meal as well. Definitely going to be coming back!

The atmosphere and staff are next level and outstanding. As busy as the Saturday we went was, the staff was attentive and responsive. We got the Brased Pork and Steak Enchiladas, both dishes were tasty. Will recommend and in some ways be a bit pushy to suggest this place. Excellent. Will be going back.

They told us it would be an hour wait on a Saturday night but I don’t think we waited for more than 10 minutes. After we sat, the hostess and team were great to get drinks and chips. I really liked the chip seasoning, and they brought us a second basket as the wait from order to food was probably typical for a busy Saturday night. The food was great but I was a little underwhelmed for the price. Will probably come back and explore the menu.

Sol Agave is, hands down, the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Authentic, elevated, gorgeous plating and top notch hospitality. I can’t wait to go back. We tried the short rib taquitos (incredible), the pork belly appetizer (amazing). The carnitas though- they really are what dreams are made of. And the butter cake at dessert was extraordinary. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Muy muy bueno!

The place was clean and inviting, the service was slow, but decent. The food was good enough for us to come back several times. Though, it did sit heavy at times. All in all, a decent place, I gave it four stars as it is a little pricey for what it is.
