Cornbred - Ames

The food at this restaurant is exceptional! There are plenty of delicious choices, particularly if you enjoy some spice. The outdoor dining area, called the Railyard, is fantastic and includes a bar that offers some exciting specialty cocktails.

The server was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the BBQ sauces offered a nice variety of flavors. The only downside was that one person in our group wanted ranch to go with her wings, but surprisingly, they don’t serve ranch deliberately.

The food is fantastic! However, I couldn't help but notice that there isn't a kids' menu available.

Came in on a Saturday after a football game around 5:00 for an early dinner. We wanted to sit inside so waited maybe 5 minutes to get a seat. Our waiter, Braydon was great. He was very friendly and always kept our drinks full. The food was really great all around. The meat was so tender and seasoned well. We had the brisket and burnt ends, both fantastic. The cornbread was my favorite consistency, dense and moist with a little jalapeño spice but not overwhelming. Real corn pieces. The sides were good, apple pork and beans being the favorite. The honey brown sugar lemonade was tops and the perfect summer drink. After a hot football game, this was really the perfect meal. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

The food was amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Root beer was great as well. The only bad thing was that the acoustics inside were terrible. It was very difficult to have a conversation with my family.
