Firehouse Subs Ames Duff

Visited for the first time at 12:30 on Friday. Staff are very nice and busy. I ordered the New York steamer. The sandwich was delicious. The only thing that keeps me from coming back is that Jersey Mike puts a lot more meat on her sandwiches.

The first time on recommendation and the sandwich was just ok. too much broth for the amount of meat. I have the italian and only one piece of any other type. flavor was in order, expected only more filling. friendly staff.

The visit was fine, but the portion size has shrunk since Covid.

I’m giving them 4 stars because we really enjoyed the brisket sandwich we ordered, but I have to point out that we noticed the prices have increased significantly. It's frustrating enough that we probably won't be returning. They charge a lot more now, and when we asked if they could put our order in a bag for the drive-thru, they said no. I don’t understand that at all.

I will give them 4 stars because we love the brisket sandwich we order, but I? ve must show that we noticed that the price is a few times so high that we will not eat there anymore. It's upset now. You load a lot more money and then if you ask that your order in a bag in the drive through, you say no. I don't understand.
