Hong Kong Garden - Anacortes

I was really anxious about trying this restaurant. I had heard about food poisoning and was hesitant to eat there, but my family had differing opinions, so I decided to give it a shot...

I could have made better fried rice myself, and I'm not even a cook! It was extremely disappointing. There were no vegetables, and the pork was just placed on top instead of being mixed in.

That was absolutely delicious! We were at the Tulip Festival and got really hungry, craving some Asian cuisine, when we stumbled upon this restaurant. Your egg drop soup...

I stopped by for dinner and placed my order, but after 25 minutes, I inquired with the waiter about the delay since it usually doesn't take that long. He chuckled and explained that the chef had gone home, and they were waiting for someone to return and prepare my meal. I've dined here more than 25 times over the past year, and the service seems to have declined with each visit. There are too many other great restaurants in town for me to consider returning.

**Parking:** There are about 3-4 street spots right in front, plus around 7 more on the side. If the business across the side street is closed, you can also park there. **Kid-Friendliness:** High chairs are available, and there are candy machines in the lobby that require a quarter.
