Tana Ethiopian Market - Anaheim

This restaurant is run by women, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. While the decor isn't fancy, it beautifully reflects their culture through various props and wall hangings. The food is excellent; I ordered the Doro Wot and a veggie Sambusa, both of which were fresh and delicious. They offer a variety of good vegetarian options that are dairy-free. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time, and I finally had the opportunity to visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, reminiscent of a cozy family home, largely due to the friendly staff and lovely decor. The food was just as flavorful and delightful as I remembered Ethiopian cuisine to be, and the prices were quite reasonable given today's market trends. I'm so glad I had this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates Ethiopian food or is looking to explore it for the first time.

Loved the whole experience of dining here with my friend. It’s a family run business with sweet staff and great hospitality. Really enjoyed the tender lamb dish with the sponge bread. Do try!!

The food is fantastic, and the service is superb. The atmosphere is really comfortable. It's one of my favorite spots for Ethiopian cuisine in the area. We ordered the veggie combo, along with lamb tibs, firfir, and kitfo, which is minced beef with chili powder. There's a shared parking lot available for free. They also offer vegetarian options, as well as drinks and coffee.
