Teddy's Barn And Grill - Anamosa

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I absolutely would! We made a reservation and arrived early to ensure we would be accommodated. The food was incredible—hands down the best salmon I've ever had. My dish was served piping hot, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals as well. The interior of the building is stunning and definitely worth seeing. I also appreciated the story behind the place, which was shared on the menu. If you have the opportunity to visit, you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I dined here tonight for the first time. We were a bit apprehensive about trying the food and visiting the restaurant, considering its past. However, we enjoyed a pleasant ride, and the food turned out to be delicious! We chose to sit indoors this time, but we will likely return to experience the terrace.

The Tylloin sandwich was excellent. It was unique in its thickness; while most Tylloin sandwiches are flattened, this one was a delightful 1/4 inch thick, yet still very tender. The atmosphere of the place was fantastic, but be prepared to navigate some stairs to reach the Hayloft and to get to the bathroom.

Teddy's is the ride worth for a place to eat some good home cooked food!

We went for our 29th wedding anniversary on a Friday and had the prime rib special, it was Fantastic!!! Such a nice little drive too!!
