This is our favorite spot for Pho and Thai food in Anchorage. The quality is always consistent, and the entire staff is incredibly friendly.

The pho here is incredible! Just a heads up about the homemade chili oil—it's really tasty but packs quite a bit of heat.

There's a fair number of Asian eateries in Alaska, but I find that most of them fall short of expectations. We didn't sample everything, but overall, we weren't really impressed. For instance, the Pho at this restaurant was lacking in flavor and seemed more tailored for Western tastes. The spicy noodle soup was a far cry from what it should be—the broth just didn't have the right taste. On the plus side, the portions were quite generous. I'm not sure I would return.

My husband enjoyed the Bowl-pho, while I loved my oxtail dish, and he was thrilled with his seafood pho. The broth was simply perfect! For his dinner, my husband ordered laab, which can be prepared cooked or raw; he opted for the raw version, his all-time favorite. We did forget to request sticky rice instead of steamed rice, but he still found his meal very satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.
