Quido's Pizza - Anchorage

Good classic pizza. I 've only ordered pizza from Guido 's twice for delivery but it 's been excellent both times. I enjoy the gourmet pizzas from the various 'tooth ' restaurants but Guido 's has that classic east coast pie you want when you just want a good slice. I 've heard complaints about service but those were all a couple years old so I imagine those employees either left or got fired because everyone 's been pretty pleasant so far. I went for the Guido 's special both times and while being expensive it was delicious. Although, spending nearly 25 bucks for a large is a little more than I 'd like but they don 't disappoint. If you pick your ingredients it 's a lot cheaper but the special is just plain good. I do want to try their other items eventually, despite some bad reviews on employees I 've never heard anything bad about the food so I 'm looking forward to exploring the menu.

I ordered at 7 pm was told it would be 45 minutes, pizza showed up on 50, food was hot and yummy, driver was very polite and even kinda cute : I got two pizzas, cheese bread and a two leader, it was 35, I payed 45. Driver seemed happy. The only draw back was the guy who took my order was a little short with me. Any how all in all ill be back!

Meatball sub!. I always order the same thing from Guido's and I'm never disappointed. Meatball sub and a greek salad- it's more than enough to feed my entire family, including a teenaged boy. The meatball sub can easily be split between 3 hungry people, and the salad is delicious. I really love the house dressing! They deliver, and are always much faster than they quote. I am a happy regular!

Great for groups!!. Not your fancy-schmancy 'specialty pizza ', but we have Moose 's Tooth for that ; ..I love going to Guido 's for non-formal, casual workplace gatherings. It 's also perfect for your future little hockey soccer stars to hold team celebrations. I don 't use them for children 's birthday parties, but only because they *had a policy for not allowing you to bring in your own cake. *They 've hopefully dropped that restriction, so check with them if you 're holding a birthday event. Good pizza, super friendly attentive employees and I can 't stress it enough... GREAT for laid-back office team gatherings!

Stromboli!!!. Used to work here about twenty years ago and have missed their food dearly since moving outside. Now that I am back, I have enjoyed their Greek Salad in house and a Stromboli delivered. Everything was delicious and I will continue to call on this Anchorage classic. Drivers don't seem to be as hip as the old days, but it's a new world...math skills on some of these guys are lacking a wee bit. Overall great deal on great food.
