Mama Penns - Anderson

Was presented by JAMitchell to MamaPenn's birthday Aug. 16. Food was delicious, service was great and a perfect place to celebrate a birthday or whatever. I will definitely visit when I return to Anderson.

I always enjoy dining at Mama Penn's. The food is excellent, and the portions are generous.

I ordered a side of pancakes, but two out of the three were overcooked. When I informed the waitress, she said I had eaten them already. I also experienced very rude treatment. A lady commented that they wanted the pancakes to be cooked better, implying it was my fault. I didn't realize I needed to instruct the waitress on how to cook pancakes. I won't be coming back.

Last week, we didn’t receive all of our food, and we haven’t been credited for it. Today, the chic dumplings were more like mashed potatoes, with just a small piece of chicken. Very disappointing.
