Taqueria Picante Mexican Kitchen Grill

The best Mexican restaurant near everything in Anderson. They were here several times and were never disappointed. The food is great. I don't care about the ground beef, but it's just my preference everything else is great. The service is attentive, friendly and professional. The atmosphere is ideal for families or groups of friends. If there are other great Mexican restaurants to choose, it is the small things they put apart. This is best in Anderson for the smallest things in a place. Very recommended.

The first time here. Very enjoyed the Salsa Bar! Service was fast and food had flavor. The extra Salsas knocked it out of the park for us. Chips were beautiful and thin with a bright color. They change their cooking oil. Thank you.

My FAVORITE Mexican restaurant in Anderson it’s always amazing. The food is great and tastes fresh, it’s clean and cute on the inside and the service is always great. If you are vegetarian/vegan, this is the only place you can get vegetable chimichangas. I wish they had a few more vegetable options but what they have is delicious.

Delicious Mexican food. I am from Texas and it is hard to find Mexican food that is more than just the usual Tex-Mex. They have a good menu with many choices. I like the fact that they have a salsa bar. Service is good.

We visited Taqueria Picante this afternoon, while out running errands, and we were absolutely blown away!!!! The atmosphere is funky, and would be a wonderful place to have an event. The food was phenomenal. We tried each salsa from the extensive options at the salsa bar. The entrees were huge portions, and exactly as described on the menu. The service made the biggest impression on us. Jamie knocked it out of the ballpark!!!! If you go, make sure to request him as your server. We will definitely return soon.
