This restaurant is part of the influx at the side of lac des bouillouses. the influcht has 36 rooms of 2 persons to small dormitory rooms to reasonable trips (36 euro per night for a double with private bathroom) the rooms are clean and cozy. the one that curses. is not open in winter, the doors end oktober to close, as the access is impossible as soon as the snow begins. the restaurant serves all day bar food snacks that are for hikers welcom. we were there for lunch. the restaurant was necessary full of reservations. eating is all cooked to home, and original, not the simple plates of meat we expected, presentation is worthy fine eating in both quantity and quality. amazing worth a 3 cursor for 14 euro! highly recommended, friendly staff, magnificent view and stunning walks. next year we plan to spend a few nights up there to offer all the opposite.

This restaurant is part of the refuge situated by the side of lac des bouillouses. The refuge has 36 rooms from 2 people to small dorms at reasonable rates (36 euros per night for a double with ensuite) Rooms are clean and cosy. The refuge is not open during the winter, closing its doors at the end of October as access is impossible once the snow starts. The restaurant serves bar food snacks all day which are welcom for walkers. We were there for sunday lunch. The restaurant was full with reservations necessary. Food is all home cooked, and original, not the simple slabs of meat we were expecting, presentation is worthy of fine dining in both quantity and quality. Amazing value - a 3 course meal for 14 euros! Highly recommended, friendly staff, fabulous views and stunning walks. Next year we plan to spend a couple of nights up there to enjoy all the area has to offer.
