We went there with excitement for a special occasion after reading great reviews on Google. But right from the start, we faced problems. The valet refused to park our car and directed us to the wrong parking area. It took us a frustrating 15 minutes, with three rude people slapping our car, and guiding us back and forth to park the vehicle finally. Once inside, there was a long, slow line for entry, even though we had already paid the entrance fee. Despite that, we weren't offered a table. The bar was overcrowded, and it took us 30 minutes to get drinks from there while we kept asking for a table. The manager was horribly rude and blamed us for not being patient. We paid money, saw many empty reserved tables, and followed up with him if we could get one. He yelled at us, saying we lacked patience when we politely asked about our table. After a whole hour of back and forth, he finally gave us a table. But the worst was yet to come. The waiter refused to take our order, rudely claiming some app issue. When we mentioned the manager had assigned us the table, the waiter accused us of abusing him verbally, which was completely untrue. The manager's response was appalling; instead of handling the situation logically, he blamed us and protected their dishonest waiter. It was unbelievable how they twisted our innocent words and accused us of using profanity. We only suggested calling the manager, but they manipulated it to make us look bad. Then the manager claimed it was a favor to assign another waiter, who never even showed up. For the next 30 minutes, no one would take our order, and they seemed to enjoy our frustration. The old waiter even said he would ensure nobody served us. In the end, we had no choice but to leave the place hungry, disappointed, and embarrassed for no fault of ours. I understand they might face frustrations dealing with crowds, but that's no excuse for their terrible service and impolite behavior. We paid for a pleasant experience, not to be treated with disrespect, shouted at, and left hungry. It was a disgusting ordeal, and I strongly caution others against subjecting themselves to such mistreatment at this place. They don't deserve your patronage after treating customers this way. I know my single negative review would not make much difference anyway given their 30k+ reviews but to anyone who has read my experience fully, I strongly advise against visiting Thalassa if you expect decent service and a good time.
