Ankeny Cafe

It was my first time there. Since I walked through the door I was met with a smile, I was given water as soon as I sat down. The ladies took my order and made sure to refill my coffee. They were very attentive and sweet. The food is really good and the prices are excellent! Such a great experience. I'll be returning to this fine establishment often. Thanks for a great welcome!

Love small hidden gems. This one hits all facets! Food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Cup of coffee was not allowed to cool, awesome. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Added to the top ten in my books. Sorry no pics. Ate too fast, darn

I'm not from the area. My family and I were looking for a local restaurant that served pancakes. Ankeny Cafe had delicious food and the service was fantastic. Everyone greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. I'll definitely eat here again!

Perfect food, great small town diner feel, wonderful service. The B&G's are perfect and everything was perfectly cooked! Small operation with quick service and friendly smiles. 10/10 will be back!
