Wasabi (ankeny)

We will continually return to Wasabi…it’s one of our favorite places. One disappointment thought is that the price for drinks, especially wine, seems to continually increase when I know the wine is being over priced.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The Sashimi was delicious, the service was excellent, and I highly recommend trying the protein and Mr. Din rolls. They were really tasty!

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had mentioned it in the online reservation and the host greeted us accordingly. The waiter/bartender also acknowledged the special occasion at the beginning of our dinner and again when serving dessert. The customer service was excellent. The food, including sushi, curry, and kimchi fried rice, was all delicious. I would have preferred a bit more spice, but everything was well done. The standout was Chris, the bartender, who provided exceptional service. Even though we hadn't been there in a few months, he remembered my favorite drink and my wife's preferences. I have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years all across the U.S., and during such challenging times with recruitment and retention, I recommend taking great care of Chris. He is a keeper who brings guests back to your restaurant.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The brussels sprouts starter and crab roll were especially delicious. Despite driving 40 miles each way, we found it well worth the trip. We will definitely be returning to Wasabi more frequently.

The food here is a awesome! I actually crave the jalepeno tuna appetizer. The drink service can be a little slow when they are busy, but not a big deal. We love this place and we will be back.
