I was surprised as the reviews seemed so high on google, but it was very misleading. the an allurice I ordered was so greasy, had hardly any sweet, so it was really just a ball of greasy rice, and they did not even bother the mix of each of the ingredients together. my friend ordered jajangmyeun, which was even worse than mine, the noodles were all overcooked and sauce was much too sweet and easy was not good, nor close to how the actual Korean sauce should taste. it was a waste of money. I have lived four years in ann arbor and literally every other korean restaurant tastes much better than here. if they like Korean foods and know how it should taste, this is not the place for them went here in the fairytale when it was opened beside the note of the owners is rude and
I always came here when it was university cafe years ago and it was my favorite korean spot. eating is still amazing, but I give him 4 stars because they have stopped doing all the small Korean side dishes they usually get in a Korean restaurant. this is disappointing because it is not the cheapest restaurant.
Very delicious authentic Korean cuisine! good prices for the amount of food you get
Environs: 3, nice for college campus fast food service: 4, very appealing eat: 3, jjajangmyeon was a bit too sweet for my lust, because I expected a bit more taste, but that may be just my palate. I think there was too much sauce compared to the ingredients in the sauce, but the egg was perfectly cooked! the portion sizes are huge and good for 2 meal times. my friend really likes her chicken soup!
Have not been here since it used to University Cafe back in the day! Thought we'd give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! It got pretty busy after we arrived, but food still came out in decent time.Ordered the jjajangmyeon...tasted different from Chinese and other versions, which is usually a fermented bean sauce. It was a beef gravy flavored sauce with slices of bulgogi in it. Still tasty.Curry chicken rice was simple with pieces of dark chicken meat, cooked perfectly with potatoes and carrots in yellow curry.Tteokbokki aka Dukbokki rice cake cooked with onion slices and fish cake was excellent! All in all the flavors were on point from this place! So glad we decided to come today! What's even better was the friendly customer service. The young guy brought our waters and food. He also cleaned every table thoroughly after every customer left, wiping everything down. Felt very safe dining in! Will come back!
