Írjon visszajelzéstThis isn't my family's first visit to this restaurant, but it was my first time trying their signature dish, Gombawoo Seollongtang. Usually, I opt for the Spicy Soft Tofu Stew, or Soondubu Chigae. Recently, I've been feeling under the weather and was advised that Korean soups made with bone broth would be helpful for recovery. I ended up removing the sliced meats from my bowl and giving them to my husband. The owner noticed and playfully asked why I would part with the precious meats—hahaha! By the way, I’ve noticed that green onions are quite pricey these days.
Authentic Korean cuisine with very friendly staff! The soup was piping hot—both in temperature and flavor. The only thing keeping me from giving a full five stars was the lack of salt in the soup. Nevertheless, I will definitely be returning!
My first taste of Korean cuisine was ten years ago, and I was immediately captivated. Since then, I've made the trip from Orange County to Koreatown a couple of times each month for my fix. The Korean food in Northern Virginia is also excellent. Recently, we dined at Gom Ba Woo, and it was a fantastic experience. The portions were generous, and every dish was incredible. The staff was polite and friendly, making our evening even more enjoyable.
Had a mixed Solungtang. Food was delicious and Ggadugi was tasty, well harmonized with soup. Also, the staffs were friendly and clean inside.
Just had breakfast here and felt compelled to leave a review. The owner was what you would get if you mixed your favorite uncle and your grandpa?the Korean version of what Uncle Joey is to the Irish. I had the galbi-tang and it was excellent. (It?s not the clear type that?s more prevalent, but the doenjang (miso -based version. When I was a young boy growing up in Korea, whenever I visited my grandpa he would get on his bicycle in the morning to go buy haejang-guk
