Sakura Cafe - Annapolis

Not, great not even good. More like OK. We eat a lot of Thai, sushi, etc. in and around Annapolis and this was near the bottom of the pack. My 16 yo daughter referred to it as Crackle barrel of Asia food. Not sure that's fair to CB. Its definitely over fried, poor-ish quality served in heaping portions to make up for it. They routinely post a seemingly good deal on Groupon, we fell for it.

Sushi wasn?t good, nor were the dumplings. One of the sushi rolls we got was totally indistinguishable both in looks and tastes. I?d avoid this if your visiting, there are much better places to go to in Annapolis.

The food here is generally good but not anything to write home about. The chef sushi rolls are great; my personal favorite is the massive godzilla roll. You can come here for drinks too. They are open really late (like 2 am) so sometimes it's nice after a night of drinking to come sit down and order a big bowl of fried rice. A bit more expensive in general than I would like however.

Worst food we ever had. We ordered different entrees and received the same meal. The chicken was so tough and over cooked it hurt my jaw to eat. What a let down. Come on guys. We can do better than this.

I was better off making my own, this was a careless act an a waist of money, it’s like they fried them, let them sit then fried them again after a hour? Disgusting!!! Hard like rocks!! This was the first time I ordered here, the silly mistake won’t happen again.
