Lotus Garden Chinese Cuisine

I got the wrong order. The food wasn't good.the food tasted bland. The food here has gone downhill.

I get the Hot and Sour Soup here about once a week for the past 5 yrs. The price keeps going up and with tax is now $6.34 for a bowl. The problem they have is with following a specific recipe. Their’s is slightly different from their Mesa location and both can be hit or miss depending on the day. Lately the problem is heat level. This soup should have spice to it, but when every bite has numerous red pepper flakes and seeds- that’s TOO MUCH!! The consistency also can be very watered down some days. It’s a broth type soup, but shouldn’t be the same consistency as brown water. Do better Lotus Garden! Everything ordered there is delicious. We eat their food at least once a week. All their portions are large. I usually have enough lefty for the next day.
