Hatsuhana Japanese - Apopka

Hands down the best sushi place in the area. We've enjoyed the restaurant for years. We were sad when they closed their doors at the end of 2021 but so pleased that they've been open temporarily for a limited time and just a few days a week since the end of July 2022. Now, in Oct 2022, they're open only Wed Saturday for takeout from 5pm 8:30pm so time it right...you'll be glad you did!

The best most authentic sushi place in Apopka. High quality fish and perfectly created rolls. The entire staff has been a delight! Quick and courteous. We have been going there for years and will surely miss them!! Thank you for all the great food and wonderful memories.

I don't know what they reviews are about but you can taste the way these guys cut corners to save money. I placed an order for 2 edamames and got 1 just split it two. Half the edamame being old and mushy mixed in with the more fresh one. Also I have never seen rolls cut in such thin slices. Sushi was ok. We payed $70 for a few rolls and edamame. Finally, who charges for spicy mayo?! These guys do. Never going back!

It is one of the best traditional Sushi places in the area. Staff are friendly and attentive while not being overbearing. The prices are a little high but the quality of what you get is worth it. Highly highly recommend this to anyone who loves great food and great service.

My husband took me here for my birthday. I've lived in Apopka almost 30 years and never made it until tonight. I'm so glad we finally made the time, because the food was exquisite, the service impeccable, the ambience calm and relaxing, and the prices super affordable. Best bibimbap I've ever had! I will definitely be back. There were a ton of regulars and the staff and chefs appear to have kind and humorous relationships with all their customers. Felt like I was in a sitcom, in a good way! If you like sushi, family vibes, and being able to hear your partner talk, give this a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised. :
