Definitely agree with the previous reviewer. Hans Cafe, Caning Bridge is awesome, Hans Cafe Opposite Melville Plaza on Canning Highway is VERY poor in comparison.We are regulars to HC takeaway/sit in at Canning Bridge: it's always busy, friendly and has efficient staff, super speedy food and piping hot on arrival, not forgetting super tasty. Vegetables are stir fried to perfection, sauces are light and gloop free, meat and fish is never overdone. We love it! The Chefs Specials are awesome, but the good old favourite in our family is the Chicken Green Curry - family LOVE it!Hans Cafe at Melville Plaza really should have rang alarms bells with me when it was empty on a Thursday night. We ordered our favourites and on arrival they were sad, tasteless, thick, gloopy, stodgy rice, soft prawn crackers.....I could go on. No thank you!Canning Bridge Hans Cafe is the ONLY one for us! ****

This popular restaurant offers great food, quick friendly service sit down or take away. The chief cook is a delight to watch from the small side window. His skill is superb and his energy levels are amazing. Go buy a meal and watch this craftsman cook it, you will enjoy your visit.

We are new to Perth and have eaten there twice over the last 3 months. Once was dine in and the other was takeaway.Very clean when we went so can't talk to past posts describing it as a dump. It can get very busy though so can understand during peak times service might be compromised.Foods we liked were:Fried rice with BBQ pork - my 2 year old swears by itSalt and pepper squid is also goodDon't expect gourmet but for quick Chinese takeaway very good

Try the beef basil, it was really good. Located at one of Perth suburb, open for lunch and dinner with good, fast service.

The cold water was served in a warm glass. the fish was as soft as pudding. the duck was served in small slices in a sauce. service, quality and quantity were just bad and I mean bad.
