It was expensive but it was for Lobster Fest. Each meal was $30+. Tasty though! Once a year we splurge.
I’ve eaten at Red Lobster quite a few times. This visit was not like the others. We had a reservation for 5:30, and were not seated until 6:30. The “busser” literally sat us down, gave us a menu and walked away. Didn’t offer a simple drink such as water. We waited for another 15 mins for our waiter to come and offer us drinks, NOT take our order. Another 10 minutes go by, we get our drinks, then place our order. While waiting for our food, a different waitress came and started delivering food to our table without saying a word. Mind you, it Was NOT our food that WE ordered. So after being there already for an hour and half, we finally got our dinner. The food was good, no complaints there. But the service was less than what is expected from a restaurant that people spent well over $100 for just 2 diners.
It was good but not as good as it used to be. I wrote that we were celebrating an anniversary but they didn’t notice. They used to ask if you were celebrating anything. We had a very nice tasty dinner but it didn’t seem very special.
My mother and I had a fantastic experience dining here at Red Lobster! Our server, Marty, was fantastic—attentive and full of humor. We truly appreciated his service. However, I did notice that this location could use some updating. The carpet appeared worn and dirty, and the booth where we sat had torn fabric. Additionally, there was quite a bit of dust on the décor. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but some improvements to the ambiance would make it even better!
