Sal's Pizza - Appleton

As a native New Yorker, born and bread in Brooklyn and later in The Bronx, Sal's of Appleton, Wisconsin is the real deal! It is authentic New York style pizza as you would find in almost any neighborhood in New York City. Sal's is my 1 walk to the pizza place in the northeast of Wisconsin. Buy it through the window! I absolutely love the original pure cheese pizza, but their other toppings are also excellent as the Margarita disc, BBQ chicken, Mac Cheese, Baked Ziti, etc... They also make big calzone. My wife also loves the garlic knots here. The ONLY, which is missing from the menu, are Jamaican beef patents. Every NY pizzeria sells pizza, calzone and Jamaican beef patties. For me, Sal's is a delicious piece at home.

Best pizza around. We love the Barbecue chicken pizza. I order it every time I go there, which is often. Garlic rolls are to die for. I could eat those all day.

We never vist Appleton without stopping at Sal's for a slice! Generous slices of thin crust pizza. Great variety. Pizza is fantastic and the rolls are amazing. Service is always good. Dining room and restrooms are always clean. Outdoor seating area. Very highly recommend Sal's Pizza!

Good place for a big slice at a reasonable price. I got a slice of margherita it came w/a yummy garlic knot as well.

This was a wonderful place. The environment felt very cozy to be in. The pizzas were sold by the slice and their size comparable to the ones sold at wholesale stores loke Costco and Sam's club although of much greater quality. The slices ate baked fresh in front of you and served with a roll on top. Wonderful service and food
