Wiseguys Pizzeria Pub - Appleton

Great atmosphere! Nice friendly service. The thin crust had too many topings so it was pretty soggy- unfortunately. We will give it another try.

I grabbed a Chicago stuffed deep dish just because I had a taste for it. After researching the Appleton area, the best two were Wiseguys and a place I will not mention. I chose Wiseguys because, let?s be honest, it?s a pretty cool name. The pizza was very fresh as far as the ingredients. I had the spicy sausage and it was made pretty good. I was super pleased overall and definitely will be back.

There's nothing worse then a bland pizza but that's Not what you'll get at Wiseguys pizza. Great zesty sauce. We really liked the hand tossed pizza and in loved the stuffed pizza. I was really pleasantly surprised with this place .

The pizza was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. It was the first time I ever had to request a different server. Our initial server was quite brusque and only wanted to take our drink orders, despite us waiting 10 minutes to have time to review the menu. When he finally returned, he spent very little time with us, making it feel like our presence was an annoyance. Thankfully, his replacement was fantastic. It's disappointing because I discovered some of the best Chicago-style pizza I've ever had in Appleton.

The pizza is just average. So why a 2-star rating? Charging over $8 for just two pieces of Texas toast labeled as garlic bread is ridiculous. As someone whose family owned an Italian and pizza restaurant, I think this place has a lot to be ashamed of. It feels like a total rip-off.
