The three of us tried the homemade veggie burger, which we all found very tasty. Even though I am an oil-free vegan, I noticed there was a small amount of olive oil in the burger and the bun. I decided to skip the avocado and vegan mayo to reduce the fat content, but it was still delicious. We also had some hand-baked sourdough bread, which was good, but I didn't eat it because it had butter spread on it. The desserts looked tempting, but we all decided to pass. We also tried the chai latte, which was delicious. We didn't get a chance to try any of the other vegan dishes on the menu.
I discovered this cafe and bakery while visiting the 12 Tribes on Pine Island. I was pleasantly surprised to find an all-female team in the kitchen! While there were not as many vegan options as I had expected, it was still nice to have something available in Arcadia. We tried the house-made veggie burgers made with rice, carrots, salt, and other veggies. The coleslaw had mayo, so we opted for chips on the side. The bun seemed freshly baked, along with the other breads they offer. The vegetables are locally sourced, and they also had vegan banana bread and vegan date bars available.
