They has 15+ flavors of ice cream, and options of sundaes and other treats. The inside is adorable, decorated with hearts etc. there is a patio outside to sit too.Portions were generous for the price and I enjoyed the variety of fun flavors they had. Defiantly worth a little detour to enjoy!
Great ice cream shoppe. Old school and excellent! All ice cream made right there at the plant.
Traditional and unique hand dipped flavors. Reasonable prices. Stopped in after a day at Sauder's Village.
Wonderful hard homemade ice cream!!! The size of scoops are very large, so it was worth the drive!
We first enjoyed butter pecan ice cream at the parlor on the first Tuesday of our stay in Archbold. Fabulous. Then, at the 1920s town at Sauder Village, my husband and I both had the bing cherry Homestead ice cream at the old-fashioned ice cream parlor there. So many cherries. So much flavor. We finished off our weeklong stay with mint chip. I've never had a mint chip ice cream that was so good with such large shavings of chocolate embedded in a just-right mint base. Thank you Homestead Ice Cream for enhancing our visit to this lovely area of Ohio. We drove 641 miles each way from Des Moines, Iowa to enjoy this ice cream as part of our total experience. It's our fifth time coming for this annual event. We wish you were closer to our hometown. Love, love, love your ice cream.
