Noodles Company - Arden Hills

My husband and I arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm and ordered Mac n Cheese and spaghetti and meatballs. Unfortunately, our food was not hot and the cheese did not even melt. The atmosphere of the restaurant seemed to be quite unpleasant, with young kids working and hanging out with their friends as if it were a frat house. It felt like they were more focused on closing up than taking care of their customers. The guy at the register had a bad attitude and didn't seem to enjoy his job. There were also people shouting out offensive language and making racist comments, particularly towards White girls like myself, which made me really uncomfortable. We have no plans to return to this location in the future. I am only giving the service a 3-star rating because the staff seemed to be giving the manager a hard time. I felt sorry for the manager, as they looked very stressed while the kitchen staff were on their phones instead of focusing on preparing food and not paying attention when orders needed to be completed. Pleasantly surprised by how nice the staff was here! Never expect too much at fast service and it was lovely enough to make me stop and want to write them a note! Noodles were really good too. Great experience today at this location way to go noodles team. This is absolutely the worst noodles and company I’ve ever been to. I live closest to this one, however I will go all the way to the one by the mall instead because the service and the food is 100% better. Last time I will ever come to the one on Lexington. The people here are absolutely just rude and disrespectful. Came in during lunch and stood by the counter for 10 mins and not one person was there. After a while a young blonde girl came and walked up to the counter and just stared at me until I ordered. I just said “really??” And she said “ I was in the bathroom” no apology NOTHING. Took my friends order and then walked away not even giving me time to order. Customer service these days is just getting worse and worse. STOP hiring apathetic teens who aren’t trained on how to greet a customer or even say hello. I’ve never even seen another customer inside this noodles. It’s like everyone noodles is completely careless and clueless.Just shut it down. She also made the food and it was absolutely disgusting, and bland and not even filled like it normally is from ANY other noodles. Wow. Should it take 50 minutes to get three bowls of noodles? I think not. There was only two other tables being used. I think they were more concerned with take out. I am complaining because two of our meals were sitting on the counter for a while we went to ask about them and yes they were ours. They were waiting on the third meal. We'll both the meals that were sitting there were not hot. If we'd of waited for the spaghetti they'd of been ice cold. It was another 8 minutes before the third meal came out. We'll we're done with noodles in Shoreview. They are way over priced anyway!
