Mill Street Tavern - Ardmore

This restaurant is always a fantastic spot to grab a beer. There's always a game on, and if you're feeling hungry, the food is also delicious. They host lots of live music and sometimes even comedians on stage. The service is good overall, and the atmosphere is lively. It's a great option for a casual dining experience. My wife and I decided to stop by for lunch after a morning at Turner Falls. Upon entering, we immediately noticed that the restaurant was quite dimly lit for the time of day (around 1:30/2). Our server was pleasant enough, but didn't seem too keen on engaging with us. We opted for the Chopped Italian Sandwich and a Caesar Salad topped with Blackened Chicken. Unfortunately, the sandwich was disappointing, both in appearance and taste, rating a 0 out of 10 from me. The salad had fresh lettuce, but the dressing left much to be desired. The blackened chicken had a decent flavor, but I wouldn't recommend it for future orders. The only redeeming part of the meal was the fries that came with the sandwich, which my wife and I enjoyed. Overall, this place might be better suited for live music and drinks rather than a sit-down lunch. In summary, the food and service were lacking, but the atmosphere was decent. If you do decide to dine here, expect to spend between $10-$20 per person. The parking situation is ample, with free parking available.

Traveling back to Texas from Oklahoma, we decided to stop in Ardmore OK for lunch. We were traveling with our Boxer (dog) and looking for something dog friendly. The Mill Street Tavern was just the ticket. Great food, fantastic waitstaff...Even live music on the weekends. Large covered patio, plenty of seating and great live music. We will definitely be back!!!
