Café de la Coopérative - Ardon

We discovered this restaurant a few years ago thanks to the gourmet passport. we found it slightly relooked and with new owners. We spent a very good time with family. the reception was pleasant, the presentation of the attractive card, the welcome children (increasing availability) the slate meat was very good, although the presentation was a little simplistic. the gourmet coffee was excellent, very varied, with a presentation that made the desire to taste it. We enjoyed the gesture of the chef (somewhat the boss) who helped us carry our many things to the car.

Renovated in the old, rustic, we feel good. nice welcome, we came for a "precise" menu of tomatoes, tasteful, good recipe. Beef paved on slate, excellent. advice: if you like the bleeding beef, order- the blue slate too powerful can serve you well too cooked. correct cheese plate, followed by a vanilla ice cream surrounded by valais apricots. small flat with not very ripe and sweet fruit and vegetables for the first, not very crunchy for the following. Is this the sad agricultural year that we live (gel-grêle, too strong heat?) let us grant the benefit of doubt!. all accompanied by a good good and full assemblage of red vines of the village whose vinegar graciously offered us the aperitif. Yes, it was not bad, alas, at the big table next door, a rather unobtrusive group somewhat disturbed our serenity! (insonorization to be reviewed) acceptable upper class rate.

We came there with the gourmet passport and were very welcome. the frame is rustic and all interior is wood. Quick service and very good kitchen. meat is excellent and generous portions. we ordered a fondue with wine and a gourmet coffee in dessert. restaurant to try without fear!
