La Catena Italian - Ardsley

We had another wonderful meal at La Catena. My dad, who now lives 35 minutes away, requested to go there because he loves their Caesar Salad, so I happily obliged. The restaurant did not let us down. The salad was made table-side and was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed warm bread with a special olive oil for dipping. Dad ordered the Branzino, which was roasted, deboned table-side, and finished with a lovely sauce. He was thrilled with it! He also asked for angel hair pasta with garlic and olive oil, which I’ll enjoy for lunch tomorrow. I had the Chicken Francese, which was perfectly pounded thin, served with roasted potatoes and string beans sautéed in garlic and oil. Everything was delightful. Unfortunately, with all the food we consumed, we had to skip dessert... but there’s always next time!

Not only was the food absolutely amazing but the owner and waiters were complete sweethearts. Definitely coming back.

Happened upon this lovely restaurant after a nearby event. So glad we stopped in! The service was impeccable. I always order fra diavolo with the hope it will be like my recipe. To my delight, this was an exceptional dish. We had two tired kids with us, and the team was very patient with them, as well. We live an hour away, but cannot wait to come back!

Delicious food. Excellent service. A hidden gem. No need to go to Mulberry Street or Arthur Avenue.
